Created between 2000 and 2010, each of the eight Daybooks is named for the color of its cover. The books contain over 1,000 collages made of materials ranging from newspapers, photographs, and drawings to wasp's nests, pencil shavings, and shirt pockets. Endless combinations of text and imagery reflect age-old themes: art, sport, food, nature, travel, love.

Robert Carolina is the pseudonym of David Coggins.
